Thoughts on Thursday: College Football

My sweet friend Jessica of Tech & Teachability and I are here with Thoughts on Thursday. We'll be here chatting the first Thursday of every month. sometimes we'll chat about classroom topics and other times we'll just chat! This month we're gabbing about college football.

So I don't know about you, but I love me some college football. If we're being 100% honest, I much rather college football to professional football. I feel like some of the heart gets lost when you start making money to play. There's really nothing I love more than a Saturday of SEC football. My hubs graduated from LSU, so in our house we root for the Tigers on Saturday.

That's us six years ago, young and in love when the hubs was on LSU's homecoming court.

The closer we get to the first game, the more excited I get. Last year the excitement spilled over into my classroom, and my kiddos did a week of math craftivities a la Amy Lemons in purple and gold.

To celebrate the Tigers' season opener this weekend you can grab a football themed math station freebie from my Are You Ready For Some Football Print & Play Math Stations. Just click HERE to get your Neutral Zone Number Puzzles freebie.

This station lets kiddos match up the different forms of three digit numbers. It's an easy activity to throw together to practice expanded form, standard form, and number words.

Also, enter below for a chance to win the full set of 10 Are You Ready for Some Football Print & Play Math Stations. One lucky winner will get this resource in their inbox right around kickoff for the Tigers on Saturday! GEAUX TIGERS!

Thanks for stopping in to hear my Thoughts on Thursday! Make sure you hop around and see what everyone else is saying about college football.

Next month when we discuss Fall in the Classroom! So get your pumpkin spice and scarves ready!

Make sure you check out what everyone else is saying about college football and link up! Hugs, kisses, and tell your mom and 'dem I said hey!
